Rhema University which is a private Christian University Founded by the Living Word Ministries and approved and licensed by the Federal Government of Nigeria, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of:

Job Title: Registrar

Location: Aba, Abia State

Qualification

• Candidate should possess a good honours degree in Humanities, Law, Social Sciences or Management Sciences with at least 15 years post- qualification experience out of which a minimum of 5 years must have been spent in a position of not less than Deputy Registrar in a University and/or other equivalent Tertiary educational institutions.
• The possession of higher degrees will be an advantage.
• The candidate must be a goal-getter, be able to show drive, exceptional initiative and great ability.
• In addition, the candidate shall be a person of impeccable integrity and strong moral character with the ability to relate excellently with staff, students and the general public.
• He/She must also possess sound leadership skills, ability to instill confidence and trust in his/her staff and must be conversant with the intricacies and peculiarities of the university system.

• This post will become vacant by 1st of December, 2015.

Salaries and Conditions of Service
The salaries and conditions of service are comparable to other Universities in Nigeria.

Each referee must be contacted by the application to forward directly to the Vice-Chancellor, a confidential report on the candidate’s academic and managerial competencies as well as the character and integrity of the candidate in a properly sealed envelope marked “Referee’s Report” at the top left hand corner of the envelope.
