OptiHuman Consulting Limited - Our client is a leader in vacation destination management. They provide solutions for fully Independent vacation, MICE and Group Travels.

They are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of Sales

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Head of Sales will be responsible for developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Actively contribute to the growth strategy and wider business plan of the company
  • Supervise business engagement of Business Development Managers.
  • Identify potential Corporate Clients, assess their creditworthiness and target them for closure within a set timeframe.
  • Management of the corporate sales and marketing budget.
  • Provide accurate forecasts and ensure that all branch targets are met.
  • Manage and lead the sales team in the different branches.
  • Develop, establish and enforce business goals, as well as policies and procedures for the sales team.
  • Define KRAs for the Account Officers in sync with the annual target provided.
  • Acquire large Multinational Corporate Accounts and drive hardcore negotiations.
  • Set out a long-term, strategic marketing vision for the company in line with growth objectives.
  • Lead all marketing activities, measure performance and develop appropriate marketing metrics.

Requirements

  • A First Degree in Business Management or a related field MBA is an added advantage.
  • Professional membership/certification within the industry is mandatory.
  • At least 8 years of professional experience in a similar role, with 4 years in a sales supervisory role.
  • Travel experience and/or luxury jet travel experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong prospecting skills and excellent closing skills.
  • Exceptional verbal, and written communication & presentation skills.
  • Good decision-making ability/skill and good analytical skills are required.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and be able to achieve the required results.
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to motivate employees.
