A leading Cargo Services company is recruiting suitable candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Ajao Estate, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Summary

  • This role is integral to driving business growth, building strong client relationships, and positioning the company as a leader in the logistics and cargo services industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  • Identify new business opportunities and markets to expand the company’s reach.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Meet or exceed set sales and revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients.
  • Oversee the online visibility of the Company.

Skill Set and Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role (preferably in logistics or cargo services).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems.
  • Knowledge of the logistics and cargo industry is an added advantage.
