Job Summary

• The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the company's business growth by identifying new opportunities, forging strong partnerships, and expanding our market presence in the food and hospitality sector. 
• This individual will have a proven track record in business development, a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, and the ability to strategize and execute plans that align with Homeland Foodie’s goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to expand Homeland Foodie’s market reach in the hospitality industry.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and industry partners.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis to inform business strategies.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies, driving revenue growth and market penetration.
• Lead negotiations and contracts, ensuring that all business deals are aligned with company objectives and values.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of new initiatives, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and management, to execute business development plans.
• Represent Homeland Foodie at industry events, conferences, and meetings to network and enhance the company’s reputation in the hospitality space.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a business development role, with a proven track record of success in the hospitality industry.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in the food, restaurant, or hospitality industry.
• Strong networking, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute growth strategies, drive business initiatives, and achieve set goals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
