Job Title: Manager - Accounts / Business Development

Location: Lagos (Remote)

Job Overview

  • We are looking for a skilled Account Manager to help our travel agency clients thrive using our technology platform.
  • Your primary mission is to empower these agencies to increase their flight ticket sales, expand their access to modern airline content (like NDC), and boost their revenue from selling ancillary products.
  • You will act as a strategic partner to our agency clients, ensuring they have the knowledge and tools needed to grow their business and maximize their success on our platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Platform Adoption & Sales: Your main goal is to increase the booking volume (flights, ancillaries) from your portfolio of travel agencies by ensuring they are actively using and getting value from our platform.
  • Manage Key Travel Agency Accounts: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key agency clients, acting as their main point of contact and trusted advisor.
  • Educate & Train: Become an expert on our technology and lead training sessions to help agencies master our platform, understand the benefits of NDC, and effectively sell a wider range of airline products.
  • Enable Agency Growth: Develop strategic plans with your clients to help them hit their business goals. Identify opportunities for them to increase their sales and efficiency with our tools.
  • Onboard & Integrate: Guide new travel agencies through the setup process and assist clients with technical integrations (APIs and B2B platforms) to ensure a smooth experience.
  • Be the Voice of the Agency: Gather feedback from your clients and share their insights with our internal product and tech teams to help us improve our platform and services.
  • Track Performance: Maintain accurate forecasts and report on key metrics like agency sales volume, product adoption, and overall satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5 to 10 years in B2B sales or account management, ideally within travel technology, or working directly with travel agencies and Airlines (TMCs, OTAs, etc.).
  • An MBA is a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understand airline distribution (especially NDC) from a travel agent's perspective and can clearly explain its value.
  • Proven Success: Have a history of meeting and exceeding the assigned targets and growing a portfolio of business accounts.
  • Excellent Communicator: Can build strong relationships, present technical information clearly, and act as a consultant to your clients.
  • Customer-Focused: Are passionate about helping your clients succeed and have a knack for solving their problems.
  • Tech Savvy: Are comfortable with CRM software, sales tools, excel/powerpoint and can confidently discuss technology platforms and APIs.
  • Willingness to Travel: You are prepared to meet with clients and attend industry events as needed.
