We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Manager

Locations: Abuja (FCT), Kano, Lagos and Port Harcourt - Rivers (Applicants should indicate their preferred state of residence)

About the Role

  • We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our expanding fintech team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic merchant acquisition, managing key accounts, and fostering long-term partnerships.
  • You’ll play a pivotal role in growing our payment network by onboarding high-value merchants across various sectors and ensuring their continued satisfaction and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage, and onboard new merchants across multiple industries and locations.
  • Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key clients to drive retention and revenue growth.
  • Lead negotiations and close commercial deals with merchants and strategic partners.
  • Work closely with internal teams (Product, Compliance, and Operations) to streamline the onboarding process.
  • Monitor account performance, analyze data, and implement strategies to increase usage and engagement.
  • Conduct market research to uncover new business opportunities and trends.
  • Prepare regular reports on pipeline activity, merchant feedback, and market insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years’ experience in sales, business development, or account management—preferably in fintech, digital payments, or financial services.
  • Demonstrated success in merchant acquisition and relationship management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across different regions.
  • Strong understanding of Nigeria’s fintech and payments landscape.

Preferred Qualities:

  • Experience onboarding merchants in sectors such as retail, transportation, health, or hospitality.
  • Comfort with a data-driven sales approach and performance tracking.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Salary
N300,000 - N600,000 / month.
