Agricultural Research Council of Nigeria (ARCN) - Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position below in "Federal College of Freshwater Fisheries Technology" under the aegis of the Agricultural Research council of Nigeria (ARCN):

Job Title: Provost, Federal College of Freshwater Fisheries Technology

Location: New Bussa, Niger

Description/Summary
The College has mandate to train middle level manpower at Vocational, Certificate, National and Higher National Diploma levels in fisheries production, aquaculture, nutrition, agricultural extension and management.

Duties

• The Provost is the Research/Academic and Administrative Head of the Institute/College and therefore responsible for the academic and administrative management and leadership of the Institute/College.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be holders of PhD in relevant discipline, have extensive research and teaching experience as evidenced by scientific publications with a minimum of Ten (10) years cognate experience in a Research Organization or College of Agriculture.
• In addition, candidates must have ability to provide academic/administrative leadership and also have clear and articulated vision for the development of the Institute/College.
• Being a Director of Research or Chief Lecturer in an Agricultural Research Institute or College of Agriculture will be an added advantage.
• Furthermore, he/she must not be more than 60 years of age as at the possible time of commencement of tenure.

Terms of Appointment
Single term of Five (5) years only.

Remuneration
Political office holders salary scale.
