We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Butler

Location: Maitama, Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Main Function

• The Butler is responsible for providing personalized, high-level guest service to ensure a luxurious and memorable hospitality experience. The role focuses on attending to the individual needs of guests, particularly VIPs and long-stay guests, by delivering attentive, discreet, and professional service while coordinating with hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
• The ideal candidate must be courteous, detail-oriented, highly professional, and capable of anticipating guest needs in a refined hospitality environment.

Role Responsibilities
Personalized Guest Service:

• Provide attentive and personalized service to guests throughout their stay.
• Welcome and escort guests to their rooms or suites.
• Assist guests with luggage, unpacking, and room orientation.
• Anticipate guest needs and ensure their comfort and satisfaction.

Room and Guest Assistance:

• Ensure guest rooms and suites are prepared according to guest preferences.
• Coordinate special arrangements such as amenities, dining requests, and celebrations.
• Assist guests with laundry, pressing, and wardrobe organization where required.
• Monitor guest requests and ensure timely delivery of services.

Dining and Service Support:

• Arrange in-room dining and table service for guests when required.
• Coordinate with kitchen and restaurant teams to ensure quality service.
• Serve food and beverages professionally when necessary.
• Guest Coordination and Concierge Support:
• Assist guests with reservations, transportation arrangements, and special requests.
• Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
• Coordinate guest activities with relevant hotel departments.

VIP and Special Guest Handling:

• Provide exclusive service to VIP guests and high-profile clients.
• Ensure privacy, discretion, and confidentiality at all times.
• Prepare special welcome arrangements and amenities for VIP arrivals.

Operational Coordination:

• Liaise with housekeeping, front office, and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Ensure prompt resolution of guest concerns and service requests.
• Maintain service logs and communicate guest preferences to relevant teams.

Professional Standards and Presentation:

• Maintain impeccable grooming and professional appearance.
• Ensure service etiquette and hospitality standards are consistently upheld.
• Represent the hotel with professionalism and courtesy at all times.

Requirements
Experience / Qualification:

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification; diploma in Hospitality Management is an advantage
• 3–5 years experience in luxury hospitality, guest services, or similar role
• Experience working in hotels, resorts, or high-end service environments is preferred
• Training in hospitality service etiquette or butler service is an added advantage
