Job Description
Innovasol Enterprise is seeking an experienced Travel Agent with strong visa application expertise to support our travel operations across U.S., Nigerian, and broader African markets.
This role goes beyond standard travel planning.
The successful candidate must have in-depth knowledge of international visa processes, documentation requirements, embassy procedures, and passport-related travel restrictions.
You will be responsible for guiding clients through visa applications, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete, and helping travelers navigate complex entry requirements with confidence. This role is critical in ensuring our clients are fully prepared, compliant, and travel-ready before departure.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with Nigerian passport holders and understands the unique challenges faced by African passport holders when applying for international visas.
This is not an entry-level role.
Real visa processing experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
Visa Application Support:
Guide clients through tourist, student, business, and transit visa processes
Provide clear instructions on required documentation based on passport type and destination
Review application forms for accuracy and completeness
Advise clients on embassy requirements, appointment scheduling, and interview preparation
Monitor visa timelines and ensure clients meet submission deadlines
Stay updated on changing visa policies and entry requirements.
Travel Booking & Coordination:
Support travel bookings including flights, accommodations, and travel insurance
Ensure visa timelines align with travel dates and supplier deadlines
Coordinate with travel suppliers to adjust bookings when visa processing affects schedules.
Passport & Entry Knowledge:
Understand visa-free, visa-on-arrival, and pre-approval requirements across multiple destinations
Advise clients on travel eligibility based on passport strength and travel history
Provide guidance on multi-destination itineraries requiring multiple visas
Stay informed on entry rules, transit requirements, and travel restrictions.
Client Communication & Compliance:
Communicate professionally with U.S.-based and African clients
Provide structured, step-by-step visa guidance
Maintain confidentiality and compliance when handling client documents
Ensure all client files and documentation are securely organized.
Qualifications
3 - 5 years of experience in a travel agency or visa processing role
Proven experience handling visa applications for Nigerian passport holders
Strong understanding of embassy procedures and international travel regulations
Experience working with U.S., UK, Schengen, Canadian, and other major visa processes preferred
Excellent attention to detail and documentation review skills
Strong communication and client advisory skills
Ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines simultaneously
Proficiency in Google Workspace and booking systems
Professional, discreet, and highly organized
Key Requirements:
Must be able to work in our Ikate / Lekki Phase 1 Office (Freedom Way)
Some positions may transition to a hybrid schedule after a 3 month probation & demonstrated ability to work independently from home.
Must have a flexible work schedule, and must be available to work US hours and weekends as needed.
Must be creative, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Salary and Benefits
Salary: Competitive (N200,000 - N250,000 monthly), based on experience; flexible ± depending on qualifications.
