Job Title: General Manager
Locations: Abuja (FCT) and Lagos

Role Overview
The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations, strategic direction, and performance of OneVERIFY Limited.
This role requires a results-driven leader with strong business acumen, capable of aligning cross-functional teams, driving revenue growth, and ensuring operational excellence across all business units.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in scaling the company’s digital identity and verification solutions while maintaining high standards of compliance, innovation, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Business Growth:
Develop and execute the company’s strategic plans in alignment with organizational goals.
Identify growth opportunities, market expansion strategies, and new revenue streams.
Drive business development initiatives and foster strategic partnerships.
Provide leadership in positioning OneVERIFY as a market leader in digital identity and RegTech solutions.
Operational Management:
Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and service excellence.
Establish and optimize operational processes, systems, and policies.
Ensure seamless collaboration across departments, including Engineering, Product, Sales, HR, and Compliance.
Monitor organizational performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Financial Oversight:
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Monitor financial performance, profitability, and cost efficiency.
Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making.
Team Leadership & Organizational Development:
Lead, mentor, and manage senior leadership and departmental teams.
Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
Oversee talent acquisition, retention, and capacity development strategies.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
Maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, regulators, and stakeholders.
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and service delivery.
Represent the company in high-level engagements, negotiations, and industry forums.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements relating to digital identity, AML/KYC, data protection, and cybersecurity.
Identify business risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Maintain strong corporate governance and ethical standards.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Establish KPIs and performance metrics across all business units.
Prepare and present operational and financial reports to the executive team and board.
Use analytics and insights to drive strategic decisions and business improvements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Law, Finance, or a related field.
8–12 years of experience in business operations, management, or leadership roles, preferably in tech, fintech, or SaaS environments.
Proven track record of driving business growth and operational excellence.
Strong understanding of digital platforms, business strategy, and organizational management.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Skills / Nice to Have:
Experience in digital identity, verification systems, RegTech, or cybersecurity solutions.
Knowledge of Nigerian regulatory frameworks (KYC, AML, Data Protection).
Advanced degree (MBA, LLM, or related postgraduate qualification).
Experience managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Strong analytical and financial management skills.
Engagement & Compensation:
1-year rolling contract or full-time (to be determined during interview).
Competitive remuneration based on experience and scope of responsibility.
