As part of our expansion strategy, we are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Trade Marketing & B2B Executive to drive market penetration and brand visibility across key channels.
Job Summary
This role combines Trade Marketing and B2B Business Development, acting as a critical link between marketing strategy and sales execution.
The successful candidate will drive distribution, brand visibility, and volume growth across modern trade, traditional retail, and B2B channels, including Hospitals, Hotels, Restaurants, Caterers, and Corporate Canteens (HORECA).
Key Responsibilities
B2B Partnership & Business Development:
Identify, engage, and onboard HORECA clients and hospitals to adopt Elkris products
Build strong relationships with procurement managers, chefs, and decision-makers
Drive the inclusion of products (Oat/Unripe Plantain swallows) on menus
Trade Marketing Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement 360° trade marketing strategies across modern and traditional trade
Execute in-store activations, promotions, and consumer engagement initiatives
Ensure strong product visibility and availability across all channels
Activations & Promotions (BTL):
Plan and execute Below-The-Line (BTL) campaigns, sampling sessions, and product demonstrations
Drive trial, adoption, and repeat purchase through targeted activations
Sales Support & Field Execution:
Support field sales teams with marketing materials, tools, and execution plans
Conduct regular field visits to ensure compliance and execution excellence
Monitor and optimize channel performance and coverage
Customer Education & Brand Advocacy:
Educate B2B partners, healthcare professionals, and trade stakeholders on product benefits
Promote the health advantages of Elkris products (e.g., weight management, glycemic control)
Sell-Out Monitoring & Reporting:
Track and analyze sell-out performance across channels
Provide insights and recommend corrective actions to improve sales performance
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Distribution Penetration: Number of new HORECA and hospital accounts onboarded
Repeat Order Rate: % of B2B clients placing repeat orders within 30 days
Promotion Effectiveness: Measurable sales uplift and return on trade investment.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in Trade Marketing, B2B Sales, or FMCG/Hospitality sales
Strong network within HORECA, hospitals, and retail channels (Lagos, Abuja, PH preferred)
Proven experience in driving sales growth and market expansion
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
Strong analytical and commercial mindset
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with field teams
