Job Title: IT / Systems Manager and IT Support Officer (Healthcare)

Overview

• We're looking for a proactive, experienced IT/System Manager to oversee our hospital’s technology ecosystem.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, integration, and security of all digital systems, while also driving continuous improvements across our technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all hospital systems, including billing, EMR, and HR platforms
• Ensure seamless operation and integration between all digital tools and workflows
• Manage and coordinate external vendors (e.g., system providers)
• Take ownership of the hospital website (WordPress), including updates, maintenance, and improvements
• Provide first-level and second-level technical support for staff and resolve system-related issues promptly
• Implement and maintain data security practices (access control, backups, monitoring, and compliance)
• Monitor system performance and ensure minimal downtime across all platforms
• Train staff on proper system usage and improve adoption of digital tools
• Recommend and implement technology improvements to enhance efficiency and patient experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3 - 5 years experience in IT systems management (healthcare experience is a plus)
• Strong understanding of system integration and IT infrastructure
• Experience managing or supporting EMR systems
• Strong knowledge of WordPress website management
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data protection
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage vendors and communicate effectively with non-technical staff.

Nice to Have:

• Basic software development skills (frontend/backend)
• Experience working with healthcare systems or fintech platforms
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and networking.
