Job Title: Furniture Man

Location: Garki 2, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance: Regularly inspecting and maintaining furniture, such as tightening screws on chairs, repairing drawers, and polishing surfaces to ensure they remain in top condition.
• Repair and Refurbishing: Fixing broken, damaged, or worn furniture, which may include upholstery repairs, fixing structural damages, or refinishing wood surfaces to avoid costly replacements.
• Installation and Assembly: Assembling new furniture in guest rooms, lounges, and suites, and ensuring it is placed according to the hotel's design layout.
• Inventory and Inspection: Monitoring furniture inventory, reporting damages to housekeeping or management, and ensuring furniture aligns with the hotel’s theme.
• Support Services: Assisting with moving furniture for cleaning, renovation, or special event setups in banquet halls and public areas.
• Safety Compliance: Ensuring all furniture items are secure and pose no safety hazards to guests, such as ensuring heavy furniture is stable.
