We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Manager

Location: Lagos
Industry: Consumer Goods (Bakery / FMCG)
Working Hours: Monday to Saturday (Hybrid, with majority of time on the field)

Role Overview

  • We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales function in the consumer goods industry, specifically in the bakery and FMCG sectors.
  • The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and implementing sales strategies, and expanding our presence across retail, wholesale, and distributive trade channels.
  • This role involves leading a team, building strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers, and identifying new market opportunities to boost the company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies aimed at growing revenue across various sales channel.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, wholesalers, and retailers to drive product availability and sales.
  • Lead efforts to expand the company’s presence in retail and general trade channels, identifying opportunities for growth in untapped markets.
  • Lead and supervise the sales team, providing guidance, support, and motivation to achieve targets.
  • Regularly monitor sales performance, prepare comprehensive sales reports, and make data-driven adjustments to strategies as necessary.
  • Identify new market opportunities, evaluate trends, and suggest innovative approaches to capture and grow market share.
  • Ensure that sales targets are met, motivate the team to exceed targets, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in retail, general trade, distributive trade, or consumer goods sales.
  • Experience in the bakery or food industry is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and negotiation skills.
  • Must have driving experience, with the ability to travel to various locations as required.
  • Must reside within Amuwo Odofin or nearby areas.

Salary
N250,000 Net monthly (for the first 6 months, salary will be reviewed).
