We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Admin / HR Assistant

Location: Gwarimpa, Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • We are seeking a proactive, organized, and personable HR / Admin Assistant to support the daily administrative and human resource functions of our preschool.
  • The ideal candidate will have a warm and patient temperament, a genuine love for children, and the ability to interact professionally and confidently with parents, staff, and visitors.
  • This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and capable of multitasking in a dynamic school environment.

Responsibilities
Administrative Duties:

  • Manage front desk operations and serve as the first point of contact for parents and visitors
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and general inquiries in a friendly and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate records of students, staff, and school documentation
  • Assist with scheduling, calendar management, and coordination of school activities
  • Support day-to-day office operations to ensure smooth running of the school

Human Resources Support:

  • Assist with recruitment processes, including posting job ads, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews
  • Support onboarding and orientation of new staff
  • Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality of HR information
  • Assist with staff attendance tracking and basic HR documentation

Content & Media Support:

  • Capture photos and short videos of school activities and events
  • Perform basic editing of photos and videos for school communications and social media
  • Support in creating engaging visual content that reflects the school’s values and environment

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum of OND / HND / Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
  • Previous experience in an administrative or HR role (school environment is an advantage)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Patient, friendly, and professional demeanor, especially when interacting with children and parents
  • Genuine love for working in a child-centered environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use
  • Basic photography and video editing skills (using mobile apps or simple editing tools)
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to take initiative
  • Strong work ethic with attention to detail

Salary
N150,000 / month.
