Job Summary

Job Description

• As an Online Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering structured, interactive, and high-quality lessons via virtual platforms.
• You will work with students one-on-one or in small groups, ensuring they understand key concepts and achieve academic improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and well-structured online lessons
• Prepare lesson plans in line with the curriculum
• Assess students’ performance and provide feedback
• Use digital tools (slides, whiteboards, videos, etc.) effectively
• Maintain a professional and distraction-free teaching environment
• Ensure punctuality and consistency for scheduled classes
• Upload lesson materials and reports as required
• Communicate progress with parents/guardians when necessary.

Requirements

• Reliable laptop (mandatory)
• Stable internet connection
• Headset with clear audio
• Quiet and professional teaching environment
• Willingness to undergo training and class observation
• Availability to commit to scheduled classes consistently

Education:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (Education or relevant field preferred)
• Teaching certifications are an added advantage

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in teaching (online or offline)
• Experience working with children or teenagers
• Familiarity with international curricula (e.g., British, Canadian) is a plus

Skills:

• Strong communication and teaching skills
• Good classroom management (even in virtual settings)
• Proficiency in using online teaching tools (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)
• Ability to simplify complex concepts
• Patience, creativity, and adaptability
• Strong internet and basic tech troubleshooting skills.
