Established in 2009, Efezi Southsea Nigeria Limited is a hospitality consultancy firm specializing in providing expert services to small and medium-sized hotels.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Hotel Receptionist 

Location: Ota, Ogun

Job Summary

  • The Hotel Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for guests and is responsible for providing a warm welcome, handling reservations, managing guest check-ins and check-outs, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the guest's stay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and attend to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
  • Receive and process room reservations and bookings.
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to guest inquiries.
  • Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly or escalate when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate guest records and reservation details.
  • Process payments, issue receipts, and balance daily transactions.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor room availability and update booking systems.
  • Prepare daily reports and maintain front office records.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in any relevant field.
  • Previous experience in a hotel reception or customer service role is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of hotel reservation systems and front office operations is preferred.
  • Good command of English language; additional languages are an advantage.

  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Basic accounting and cash-handling skills.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and hotel management software.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
