Job Title: Senior Sales Executive

Locations: Abuja; Ibeju-Lekki, Eti-Osa, Shomolu, Kosofe, Ojo, Amuwo-Odofin, Surulere, Apapa, Akute, Alimosho, Mushin, Oshodi, Agege, Ifako-Ijaiye, Ikeja - Lagos; Sagamu, Abeokuta, Mowe, Sango-Ota - Ogun; Ibadan - Oyo; Port Harcourt, Rivers; Benin City, Edo;  Asaba, Warri, Ughelli, Delta and Umuahia, Ukwa, Aba - Abia

Role Summary

  • Our client is seeking a highly motivated Senior Sales Executive to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth across its lending and financial solutions portfolio.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and converting prospects into active customers.
  • This role requires a results-driven professional who thrives in a target-oriented environment and enjoys engaging directly with customers in the field.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Customer Acquisition:

  • Identify and engage prospective customers through field activities, referrals, networking, and strategic prospecting initiatives.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to support consistent business growth.
  • Promote and recommend suitable financial solutions based on customer needs.
  • Drive customer acquisition efforts to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets.

Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage retention and repeat business.
  • Provide excellent customer experience throughout the sales process.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling relevant products and services.
  • Address customer concerns promptly and escalate issues where necessary.

Sales Execution & Performance Management:

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to conversion.
  • Monitor personal sales performance and implement strategies to improve results.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities.
  • Ensure achievement of monthly and quarterly sales objectives.

Market Intelligence & Partnership Development:

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities within assigned territories.
  • Identify strategic partnership opportunities that can support customer acquisition efforts.
  • Provide market feedback and customer insights to management.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and customer verification procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of sales activities.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports and performance updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in field sales, business development, or customer acquisition.
  • Experience within financial services, lending, insurance, fintech, or FMCG sectors is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM tools.
