We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract
Work mode: Hybrid (3 Days remote & 2 Days onsite)
Reports to: Operations Manager

Job Overview

  • We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our market presence and developing long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Develop and execute strategic sales and business development plans
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with company targets
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and forecasts using CRM systems
  • Achieve and exceed agreed revenue and growth targets

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (preferred)
  • Relevant professional certifications are an advantage

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven 2-5 years experience as a Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, or similar role
  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, results-oriented mindset
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.

  • N250,000 plus performance-based commission
