Fieldbase Services Limited is a provider of integrated communication, navigation, and surveillance sales and support services to African industries such as Maritime, Oil & Gas, Mining, and NGOs. The company has offices located in Port Harcourt and Lagos.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Level 2 Field Engineer – Enterprise Connectivity

Location: Lagos

Role Summary

• This role bridges frontline field execution and core network engineering.
• You will provide escalation support, configuration, troubleshooting, and technical leadership, stepping in when complexity increases and standards matter most.

You will support:

• Starlink Enterprise (L2 / L3) networking
• Medium to large IT networking projects
• Private LTE network deployments
• Integration of field infrastructure into data centres.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide back-office technical support for enterprise field operations
• Configure, troubleshoot, and optimise enterprise connectivity systems
• Execute remote commissioning and site deployments
• Prepare weekly network availability and performance reports
• Implement approved change requests and work orders
• Travel nationwide (~50%) to resolve escalated field issues
• Provide technical oversight to third-party engineers and contractors
• Support, guide, and mentor Level 1 Engineers
• Uphold very high standards of professionalism in execution and documentation

What We’re Looking For

• STEM degree (Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Telecoms)
• 2+ years’ experience in IT infrastructure or telecom field engineering
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent team player with emerging field leadership capability
• Comfortable working under pressure and across multiple sites
• Willingness to travel within Nigeria
