Promethean Consulting Limited is a growing technology-focused organisation delivering innovative IT solutions and professional services to businesses. We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales function, drive revenue growth, and build a high-performing sales team capable of expanding our presence across key markets.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Executive

Location: Lagos

The Role

  • The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, developing client relationships, and contributing to the growth of our technology consulting and IT services portfolio.
  • The successful candidate will have experience selling technology products or services and a strong desire to build a successful career in technology sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities.
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and business development activities.
  • Conduct client meetings and presentations.
  • Understand client business challenges and recommend appropriate technology solutions.
  • Prepare proposals and quotations in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Maintain and update opportunities within the CRM system.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Achieve individual sales and revenue targets.

Requirements

  • Experience in B2B sales, preferably within the IT, technology, telecommunications, software, or consulting sectors.
  • Strong understanding of technology solutions and business applications.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to engage with business owners, executives, and IT decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and highly organised.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling managed IT services, cloud solutions, cybersecurity services, software solutions, ERP systems, business applications, or consulting services.
  • Existing network of corporate contacts.
  • Relevant business or technology qualification.
