Promethean Consulting Limited is a growing technology-focused organisation delivering innovative IT solutions and professional services to businesses. We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales function, drive revenue growth, and build a high-performing sales team capable of expanding our presence across key markets.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

The Role

  • The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for our organisation, identifying new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and recruiting, coaching, and leading a team of Sales Executives.
  • This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with a strong background in technology sales and a proven track record of delivering growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team.
  • Recruit, train, and develop Sales Executives.
  • Drive new business development across corporate and public-sector markets.
  • Build relationships with decision-makers, including CIOs, IT Managers, Procurement Teams, and Business Leaders.
  • Identify opportunities for IT consulting, managed services, cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure, and digital transformation solutions.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecasting process.
  • Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to develop client solutions and proposals.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in B2B technology or IT services sales.
  • At least 2 years' experience leading or managing a sales team.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of IT solutions, technology services, and enterprise sales cycles.
  • Experience selling to corporate, government, or enterprise clients.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems and sales performance reporting tools.
