Job Title: SEO Specialist and Telesales Agent

Location: Sabon-Lugbe, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

  • Codelabprojects Nigeria Limited is seeking a proactive, analytical, and results-oriented SEO Specialist and Telesales Agent to improve the online visibility of the company's and clients' digital platforms while driving business growth through outbound telesales and lead generation.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing effective SEO strategies, optimizing website performance, identifying prospective clients, promoting the company's products and services, and converting qualified leads into customers.
  • The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), digital marketing, and customer engagement, with excellent communication, persuasion, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve website rankings, organic traffic, and online visibility.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and technical SEO audits to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Optimize website content, metadata, internal linking, page structure, and user experience for search engine performance.
  • Monitor website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar SEO tools and prepare performance reports.
  • Work closely with content creators, developers, and marketing teams to improve website performance and search engine compliance.
  • Stay updated on SEO best practices, algorithm updates, and digital marketing trends.
  • Conduct outbound telesales calls to prospective clients to promote the company's products and services.
  • Generate, qualify, and follow up on sales leads to maximize customer acquisition and revenue.
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships through effective communication and follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and lead progress using CRM tools.
  • Support digital marketing campaigns across social media, email marketing, and online platforms.
  • Assist in creating digital marketing materials and promotional content using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or similar tools.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to achieve sales, marketing, and customer engagement objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in SEO, digital marketing, telesales, lead generation, or a related role.
  • Proven knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), including keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and performance analysis.
  • Experience using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms.
  • Experience in outbound telesales, customer engagement, and lead conversion.
  • Basic knowledge of WordPress content management and website optimization is an added advantage.
  • Experience using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or similar graphic design tools is desirable.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Good computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently, meet targets, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
