We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Administrative / Operations manager

Location: Ojo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job review

  • We are seeking an experienced and proactive Administrative/Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of a furniture manufacturing company.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with a background in manufacturing or production—preferably within the furniture industry.
  • The role involves supervising operations, managing resources, and ensuring smooth workflow across departments to support efficiency, productivity, and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day administrative and production operations to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Supervise factory and office staff, ensuring high performance and accountability.
  • Coordinate logistics, procurement, and material inventory for timely production.
  • Monitor production schedules and ensure targets are met efficiently.
  • Support HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, and attendance management.
  • Implement operational policies and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and workplace standards.
  • Manage documentation, reporting, and communication between management and departments.
  • Handle vendor and client relations, including order fulfilment and delivery tracking.
  • Provide regular operational updates and reports to management.

Requirements
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, or related fields
  • Experience in furniture manufacturing or related production environments is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of supervising teams and coordinating factory operations.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to plan, prioritise, and execute tasks effectively.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and results-driven.
