We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Medical Doctor

Location:  Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient consultations and medical examinations.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans.
• Request, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic test results.
• Perform minor medical procedures as required.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Provide emergency medical care when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
• Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
• Follow up with patients to assess treatment effectiveness.
• Adhere to all medical, ethical, and legal standards.
• Comply with hospital policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits.
• Ensure proper documentation of all medical activities.
• Work closely with nurses, pharmacists, laboratory scientists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in medical meetings, case reviews, and training sessions.
• Provide guidance and support to junior medical staff and interns.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS/MBChB).
• Valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
• Completion of Housemanship and NYSC.
• 1–3 years post-qualification clinical experience (or as required).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Life Support certification is an added advantage.
