We combine local manufacturing, digital commerce, and design-led products to make quality home goods more accessible. As we enter our next phase of growth, we're hiring a Digital Marketing Executive to drive awareness, generate leads, support sales, and strengthen our digital presence.

Job Title: Digital Marketing Executive

Location: Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

The Opportunity

• As the Digital Marketing Executive you will own DIY Africans' marketing efforts from strategy through execution and operate the role with a commercial marketing mindset with an understanding that marketing drives business growth.
• Confidently planning campaigns, creating content, analyzing performance, and optimizing results in a fast-paced startup environment.

• Reporting: You will work directly with leadership rather than into an existing marketing team - ideal for someone who wants ownership early.

Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing & Growth:

• Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across paid and organic channels
• Manage and optimize Meta advertising campaigns (Facebook & Instagram)
• Generate and nurture sales leads through to conversion
• Monitor campaign performance and recommend improvements

Content Creation & Social Media:

• Develop engaging content for social media platforms
• Participate in product and lifestyle content shoots
• Build content calendars and posting schedules
• Manage day-to-day social media activity, including customer enquiries and engagement

Brand Building

• Strengthen DIY Africans' digital presence
• Contribute ideas for brand growth and customer retention

Reporting & Analytics

• Track marketing performance metrics
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports
• Monitor lead generation and conversion performance
• Provide insights and recommendations to leadership

Requirements
Must Have

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 2–4 years' experience in Digital Marketing, Growth Marketing, or Social Media Management.
• Hands-on experience managing Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram), with budget accountability
• Strong content creation skills
• Good understanding of customer acquisition and lead generation
• Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, or similar creative tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

• SEO knowledge
• Google Business Profile experience
• Basic website management experience
• Experience working with product-based brands
• Interest in furniture, home goods, interior design, or lifestyle brands

Work Structure (Hybrid)

• Monday: Weekly planning and team alignment meeting
• Tuesday: Content production and marketing activities
• Wed – Thu: Physical collaboration and execution (on-site)
• Fri – Sat: Flexible execution and reporting

Salary
N180,000 - N220,000 Month.
