Job Summary

• We are hiring a financial accountant to oversee day-to-day finance operations, liquidity management, treasury processes, and financial reporting for Metro Group.
• The role provides the finance manager and leadership team with financial insights, modelling, and governance as we scale our payment infrastructure across multiple markets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily/weekly financial reports (revenue, margins, liquidity, and volumes).
• Manage liquidity across multiple banks, wallets, currencies, and corridors.
• Lead treasury operations: internal transfers, settlements, vendor payments.
• Build and maintain financial controls, workflows, and treasury processes.
• Support budgeting, financial modelling, fundraising, and investor reporting.
• Collaborate with Reconciliation, Compliance, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Ensure audit-ready documentation and regulatory financial compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or similar.
• 4-5 years of experience in finance, treasury, or fintech/payments operations.
• Strong analytical ability and experience in multi-bank/multi-currency finance.
• Proficiency in Excel/financial modelling.
• Close attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work under pressure.
• Professional certifications (ACA, ACCA, CFA) are an added advantage.

Benefits
Salary: N400,000 Monthly.
