About the job

• We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Assistant Branch Manager to support the daily operations of our Restaurant/Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) outlet.
• The ideal candidate will support the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant by ensuring excellent customer service, efficient operations, staff supervision, compliance with company standards, and achievement of sales and operational targets.
• The Assistant Restaurant Manager assumes responsibility for the restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Branch Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
• Supervise and coordinate front-of-house and back-of-house staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Ensure excellent customer service and promptly resolve customer complaints.
• Monitor daily sales performance and contribute to achieving branch revenue targets.
• Assist with staff scheduling, attendance monitoring, and shift management.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management of employees.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock requisition and control to minimize waste.
• Ensure accurate cash handling, reconciliation, and adherence to financial control procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and operational readiness of the branch.
• Prepare operational reports and provide feedback to the Branch Manager.
• Stand in for the Branch Manager during their absence and ensure seamless branch operations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• HND / Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in restaurant operations, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of the Odoo ERP software is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Ability to work under pressure and lead a team effectively.

Salary
N250,000 monthly.
