We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Online Community Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Descriptions

• The online community manager is primarily tasked with the development, growth, and management of the online community.
• S/he will manage user relationships with assigned brands or/and products, and vice versa.
• S/he is focused on the flow of information and knowledge, strengthening relationships and promoting productive collaborations and brand affinity through extensive mix of user engagement processes.
• Other responsibilities and required skill-sets include social media management, marketing, PR, and customer support.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Content Creation:

• S/he will constantly write daily blog posts, articles, newsletters, communications materials, and materials for social media channels;

Social Media Marketing:

• S/he will create, manage and grow the company’s presence through blogs, Twitter post, Facebook post, and other strategically relevant online properties;

Events and Event Planning/Execution:

• S/he will attend industry events in her/his city (often outside the normal 8am -5pm work time) and plan events/meet-ups for the community;

Public Relations:

• S/he manages incoming media requests and builds relationships with industry journalists; creating, executing and measuring media campaigns;

Customer Relations:

• S/he is responsible for customer support - answering questions however they come in (phone, e-mail, Twitter) and managing all online feedbacks;

Communications/Marketing Strategy:

• S/he is responsible for creating strategic marketing/communications plans to provide direction for the company’s public-facing communications;

Data Analytics:

• Using Google Analytics and other measurement tools to provide reports on metrics, and continually find ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives;
• Business Development (Including ‘Products and Offer Management’):-
• S/he is responsible for product development (online products), business development and sales;

Qualifications

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge and skillsets required.

Education:

• B.Sc. from a reputable university preferably on Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.
• Flair & Passion for writing & blogging, PR, communications, and social media activities.

Others:

• Must have completed NYSC
• Not more than 28 years old
• Sociable & consistent flow is expected of candidates.
• 0-3 years experience
