W-Holistic Business Solutions - Our client, a media firm seeks to recruit a qualified and experienced individual for the position of:

Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (Media)

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day leadership and management to a service organization that mirrors the adopted mission and core values of the company.
Responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives.
Lead and managed the team responsible for media planning and execution
Manage creative and research agencies to ensure delivery on marketing campaigns
Must be able to handle professional media services as a media planner and media buyer.
Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes internal and external. Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating conditions of the company.
Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of our organization.
Motivate and lead a high performance management team; attract, recruit and retain required members of the executive team not currently in place; provide mentoring as a cornerstone to the management career development program.
Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.
Responsible for measurement and evaluation of campaign impacts and effectiveness.
Manage communication with the external agencies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.
Master’s degree is an added advantage.
Minimum of 7-10 years experience with at least three years in a senior management role in a media firm.
Prior experience in media industry is mandatory.
Energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image.
Strategic visionary with sound technical skills, writing skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus.
Well-organized and self-directed with "political savvy" and a team-player approach.
Intelligent and articulate in relating to people at all levels of an organization with excellent communication skills.
Trustworthy with willing to share information and to serve as a mentor.
Excellent negotiation skills with experience in contracts.
Decisive with a "big picture" perspective as well as versed in systems.
Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets complex documents.
Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics
