Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) - The attention of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has been drawn to a purported false recruitment information & improper use of the NCS name.

Disclaimer on Purported Customs Recruitment

Consequent upon the inundation of the Comptroller-General of Customs Dikko hide Abdullahi CFR, and Members of Management of the Service about a purported on-going recruitment exercise in the Service, the NCS wishes to state clearly that no recruitment exercise is being conducted now besides the ones that were conducted in 2009 and 2011.

Therefore any purported sale of forms, invitation for interview and list of recruited candidates being seen any where is fake and did not emanate from the Service.

Recruitment process into the Service starts with advertisement of vacancies in print and electronic media, as well as the Service website www.customs.gov.ng , this is followed by examination/interview training of successful candidates and deployment The process recognizes only the Federal Character principle of geographical spread.

The Nigeria Customs Service is an equal opportunity employer that recruits candidates irrespective of gender, religion or tribe. Interested candidates are therefore advised to avoid being duped and wait until when the Service put up vacancy advertisement through appropriate media.

The general public is strongly advised to be suspicious of any offer of customs related job placement, auction sales and contract award especially through the internet and report such offers to the nearest Customs formation.
