Job Description

• Big Field Digital is looking for an experienced Digital Marketer (SEO/PPC expert) with 3+ years of professional experience. Digital marketing is one of our core services and we want to give every client an unforgettable brand experience.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Handle all digital marketing projects from the stage of interpreting the brief, to developing marketing campaign strategies, coming up with a proposal and budget, then managing both social media and PPC campaigns, as well as writing periodic reports on the progress of these campaigns.
• Brainstorming on creative marketing strategies for brand, monitoring ads performance using analytics tools, experimenting using A/B testing to determine what works and what doesn’t, understanding clients’ preferences and requirements.
• The management of our social media platforms and those of our clients will also be your responsibility. Don't fret, we make it pretty interesting and we work in teams.
• Ensuring our website and social media accounts are well-optimised and maintained to give clients a great experience on those platforms.
• Tracking and analysing website traffic flow, visitors' activities, fixing errors or bugs found, and providing regular reports.
• Your attainment of KPIs such as reduction of bounce rate, increase in dwell time, and conversion is paramount to your success as a Digital Marketer.
• Identifying new trends in digital marketing, evaluating new technologies, and ensuring that the company is at the forefront of the industry's developments.

Skills / Competency / Requirements

• Essentially PPC/SEO expertise; you must be highly proficient in running Social Media Ads (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn), as well as Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping and Video).
• Expertise should include On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO (link building, brand mentions, local SEO etc.), Technical SEO (website speed, mobile-friendliness, implement structured data markup, sitemap and robot.txt optimisation etc.) and you must be very proficient in using Google Search Console and Analytics.
• Ability to function independently and as a team member. In addition, you must have a creative and analytic mind to comprehend figures, evaluate important metrics that affect website traffic, and create new strategies to improve ads performance.
• Passionate marketer who can think spontaneously about campaign strategies and how to achieve set KPIs.
• Ability to keep up with both industry and societal trends, manage multiple social media accounts, understand how Google’s algorithm works, optimise ads and website for search (SEO) will highly be required.
• In-depth knowledge of SEO and a basic understanding of HTML, with the ability to select an excellent mix of keywords, copy, visual designs, and ads placement.

Additional Information:

• Should be willing to start work immediately or within a short notice.
• Will be required to work remotely until the COVID-19 situation is over, thereafter, you will be working from our office in Ibadan. If you are not a resident of Ibadan, you should be willing to relocate to Ibadan (free accommodation will be provided for 1 year).
• Must be 100% committed and ready to work full time. We are not looking for a freelancer.
