Job description Senior Reservoir Engineer

• Prepare data]decks for simulation models to include rock properties, relative permeability data, PVT,
• capillary pressure, vertical lift performance, well specification and production data.
• Carry out history match exercises using historical production data and pressure information.
• Perform prediction simulation runs to evaluate a range of possible development options.
• Provide production forecasts and reserves estimates for planning and reserves reporting.
• Performa ad]hoc reservoir engineering studies using classical analytical techniques (e.g. material balance,
• fractional flow and decline curve analysis).
• Provide reservoir engineering input to well proposals and field development plans . and presentation of
• same to partners and local approval agencies.
• Recommend and prepare data gathering programmes (pressure surveys, PLTs, etc) for fields and reservoirs.
• Prepare and obtain approval for contracts to cover reservoir engineering technical work to support in]house
• study teams and ensure adherence/compliance with agreed scopes of work and contract ceilings.

Requirements Senior Reservoir Engineer

• University graduate with a high quality engineering/science/geology degree.
• Sound technical knowledge with at least 10 years relevant experience including significant time within an
• operating company.
• Expert proficiency in Eclipse (preparation of data.decks, problems solving and history matching) and a
• good understanding of static modelling.
• Ability to prepare short term planning forecasts, Life of Field production profiles and resources and
• reserves estimates.
• Competence in well design and supporting drilling operations.
• Experience of working effectively in multi.disciplinary, multi.cultural teams.
• Effective communicator with an ability to mentor younger staff.
• The Company is at an early stage of growth and the individual must be prepared to deal with significant
• levels of uncertainty and changing priorities whilst remaining focused on delivering business targets in a
• structured manner.
• Detailed knowledge of the geology of, and/or operations within, the Niger Delta would be an advantage.

• Dayrate salary
• 12 to 24 months Contract
