Job Summary
Our client, a top-tier (2) commercial bank, requires the service of a highly skilled sales and marketing manager with Fin-tech experience to head its premium segment (banking).
This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that would drive the growth of the premium segment focus of the retail business.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing and driving a sustainable framework to continuously bridge the gap in the premium segment to grow and increase market share.
Accountabilities / Responsibilities
Develop and implement appropriate value propositions for the bank’s premium customers to drive the consumer banking business and bridge the gap in the premium banking segment.
Develop strategies to achieve the fees and commission (Non-Interest Income) objectives of the financial year as well as monthly expectations.
Research and monitor market trends, conduct market intelligence and keep up to date with competition to develop the right products/initiatives.
Provide advisory and value-added service by analyzing premium customer’s risk profile and recommend appropriate investment options.
Enhance product deliverables, by amending or customizing product design/terms to link the customer to products that deliver impressive returns/benefit for both them and the bank.
Develop or modify processes that address service efficiency enhancements, process improvements, and service delivery to constantly improve customer experience.
Proactively identify and categorize premium customer client base through parameters such as: location, industry, groups, that will enable the bank acquire maximum share of the segment.
Effectively analyze issues log and provide solution on unresolved issues, as well as review feedback on product/service requirements to identify and translate market opportunities into new or enhanced product programs.
Evaluate customer's financial data or investment objectives and recommend strategies based on the client's risk profile and personal financial statements.
Monitor publications sent to premium customers to ensure the right communication is delivered.
Collaborate with marketing & communications/relevant departments by attending events or platforms that would foster constant engagement of the bank’s premium customers as well as identification of prospects.
Qualifications
First degree from a reputable university
12 years sales/marketing experience in Banking or Financial Institution
Second degree would be an advantage.

Customer frictions and frustrations of the premium segment space
Belong to the Segment and good track record of being a member of the Premium Segment community. Have a good feel of the need/ opportunities/ aspirations/ market gaps and frictions to be resolved for the segment
Be an excellent proxy for the segment, including from social networks, schools attended, and educational attainment
Smart, strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong goal-getter, strong entrepreneurial skill and attitude and drive to deliver strong business results
