Job Description
We are looking to fill the role of an operations manager to manage sourcing, manufacturing, distribution, maintenance, and installation of all products and services from the company.
This role will be responsible for overall plant production and maintenance.
Responsibilitites
Manages a team responsible for the sourcing, manufacture, distribution, maintenance, and installation of ourproducts and services within the entity.
Ensures client satisfaction and operational staff loyalty.
Ensures the safety, availability, and efficiency (energy, transport, production level, stock levels...) of industrial operations through leading operation and maintenance (critical parts and preventive maintenance) of production units.
Optimizes and develops industrial facilities (equipment and processes) in order to meet current and future market needs or new constraints (energy).
Ensures the development of the production teams (technical and managerial skills).
Strictly Respects and enforces all operations’ IMS requirements of the Group.
Ensures the implementation of local regulation.
Leads The implementation of legislation and rules on safety / security.
In charge of the site (housekeeping, security, etc).
Implements and monitors preventive measures on safety, the environment, and proposes investments to ensure the safety of personnel, facilities, and compliance with environmental standards.
Ensures that the procedure of the work permit is understood and implemented within his unit.
With the help of HSSEQ-RMR, does incident analysis, and risk analysis at the workplace. Ensures regulatory compliance of operations of the unit.
Communicates, explains, and implements the industrial policy.
Adjusts local Country organization in order to implement efficiently industrial policy & systems.
In coordination with the General Manager and WCAA Industrial Director, proposes investment plans.
Ensures full reliability of sourcing, production, and distribution. First actor & accountable in Customer Satisfaction and Experience
Ensures that industrial facilities and organizations enable compliance with contractual commitments (time / quality / completeness)
Responsible for the production of the entity, prepares and analyzes, and transmits periodic reports on production safety, reliability, quality, and performance.
Developing and maintaining the list of key operating documents necessary for operations.
Ensures that the team is able to start, stop and secure the unit. Applies and develops operating procedures of his unit.
Ensures the optimization and efficiency of the production of each unit. and Keeps track of the different ratios of production units.
Ensures the reality of preventive maintenance plan implementation in the field.
Establishes the technical monthly report that it sends to regional technical delegates.
Ensures that parts critical to the reliability of the units are available.
Ensures that the annual maintenance plan is carried out effectively & efficiently, with minimal / no impacts on customers (back up planning).
Ensures the administrative processing of dispatching is done within the shortest possible time (loading plans, road documents, delivery slips).
Checks the state of cylinders both empty and fill in the cylinder depot (take physical inventory) Checks daily production sheet against the physical stock.
Checks deliveries at the end of each day and transmits delivery slips to the commercial department for invoicing.
Analyses logistics indicators and transmits them to the department head for consideration when improving logistics processes.
Proposes regular adaptation plans in organizing rounds in order to optimize cylinder stocks and transportation.
Evaluate the skills available in the technical team and define training or recruitment needs.
Ensures that training and empowerment programs are in place and are followed.
Ensures that the operating manuals and operating procedures of the unit are prepared in accordance with the standards of the subsidiary, and ensures their implementation in his unity.
Leverages in his unit all training received from the regional management and technical manager.
Animates and advances his team and passes his knowledge.
Ensures each employee a fair and objective performance appraisal.
Requirements
A minimum of 10 years post qualification experience
Not more than 45 years of Age.
Diploma / Degree / Master's +5 - 7 years
Good knowledge of Production
Good communicator Good knowledge of Distribution/logistics
Understand basics in Finance
Good understanding of the quality system
Good understanding of HSEQ
Good knowledge of maintenance Leadership team management
Good knowledge of kite tools
Knowledge of business management and systems (budgets, handling HR issues, communication, etc.)
