Job Title: Lead / Mid Level Test Engineer
Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
The Engineer must have a minimum of 3 years plus handling automated and manual tests for series of enterprise projects as follows:
Maintain & improve the automated test framework
+3years proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester (Automation, Manual, and Test Documentation).
+3 years of Knowledge inAutomation, API, Integration, UI, Compatibility, Security,and Regression testing.
+3 years of Knowledge in Load, Performance, Penetration, Localization, GUI Testing.
+3 years of working with Key technologies: Postman, Selenium, Cucumber, JIRA, SpecFlow.
+3 years of Good understanding of Databases and experience with Oracle/SQL and a bit of NO-SQL.
+3 years of Ideal experience with Cloud development such as Azure and AWS.
+3 years Demonstrable experience with Azure.
+3 years Experience with System Integration testing on SOAP, Web Services, REST APIs
+3 years Experience working with C# mainly others are a plus like Java, Javascript, Ruby, Python.
Create new automated tests & investigate test failures
Triaging discovered defects with the product owner and team
Write automated tests following the BDD framework & provide input to the developers for unit-level tests
Investigate any defects reported by stakeholders/end users & support the team to find the root cause & get the right fixes
Perform manual / exploratory testing against new features
Work closely with the team to sign-off on the quality of new releases following the Agile release pattern
Attend team retrospectives & workshops to ensure continual improvements
Define & add new test cases into different automated test packs
Capture test results & defects
Understand business requirements & processes to define test plans with continuous review of scope & testability of all requirements
Provide test estimations & testing approaches to the PO and team.
CI/CD knowledge
3 - 4 years experience working in a Test Engineer/Mid Level Test role
Requirements
The Engineer must have a minimum of 3 years plus handling automated and manual tests for series of enterprise projects as follows:

Ability to work independently, mentor & collaborate with team members
Experienced in Rest API testing frameworks especially for Microsoft .Net Core
Experienced in programming languages (Java/ Python)
Experienced using Cucumber to write test cases in feature files by using gherkin language
Experienced using Postman and Swagger
Experienced in CI tools (Jenkins, Gitlab Pipelines) from testing configuration aspect
Ability to solve problems quickly and completely.
Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment.
Ability to work independently, mentor & collaborate with team members
Passionate about software test development, with a general thirst for technology & interest in new testing tools & methodologies.
Experience in technical design, process development, and automatic test solutions.
Must have a minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in working with Automation and Manual enterprise-level projects evidence.
Must be an active and fast learner with a high level of focus.
Benefits of Joining Impero
Salary: N120,000 - increasing every 3 months to 6 months
Gross Pay Structure from Year 1 to 5 years isN27,720,000.00
HMO Benefits will commence after 6 months of confirmation.
Salaries will be paid in dollars towards the end of next year
Keep in mind the Salary Structure Break Down for 5 Years is subject to reviews for higher increment as companies continue to generate revenue, this is separate from Profit Sharing you will get stated in your Employee Handbook as being a founding member.
Staff Relocation towards the end of next year to Mauritius.
Loyalty Bonus of 3,000,000 giving to you at the end of year 4.
Leave Bonus will be calculated per annum of the salary schedule for that year.
Must Work and Stay at the Office (Accommodation) and Can leave for Weekend being Sunday and return back to work on Monday.

Intensive Training Drilling to ensure you become Proficient in Test Engineering
