Giant Beverages Limited - A beverage company located at Ikorodu, Lagos urgently need qualified Drivers who resides within Ikorodu and environs or willing to relocate to immediately apply.

Job Title: Truck Drivers

Location: Lagos

Job Specifications

Inspect truck for defect and safe operating condition before, during and after trips and submit a written report on the condition of the truck at the end of each trip or tour of duty.
Check delivery papers to determine the nature of load and verify for accuracy.
Drive truck to and from destinations
Apply knowledge of commercial driving and skills in maneuvering vehicle at varying speeds in difficult situations such as heavy traffic, inclement weather.
Must be able to operate equipment in all types of weather and conditions. this includes going forward and backing up long distances, around corners, and in and around very tight areas
Report all accident involving drivers or company equipment highway safety hazard noted in route.
Promptly report any delays due to breakdown, weather or traffic conditions or other emergencies, or in the event of irregularities relating to pickup or delivery of products

Qualification

must possess a valid commercial class or driver's license.
Must have previous commercial driving experience, or have graduated from an accredited commercial driving school.
Must have the ability to read and write English, perform simple mathematical calculations.
Must have mental ability to handle receipt; read maps, road signs, maintain record of duty status etc.
