A reputable Radio Station based in Lagos requires seasoned professionals to fill the under listed position:

Job Title: Group Head, Internet Audit

Location: Lagos

Job Description

Establish strategies to prevent loss o revenue through airtime and cash misappropriation.
Lead day -to-day internal Audit activities by creating necessary control strategies on how order is received and processed via the Traffic Unit, compare what is broadcast to what is scheduled in the traffic unit, ensure payment is made for all scheduled items, check whether involves that are sent to Agencies reflect airtime used for the month, confirm if cash/cheque posted in accounts agrees with what the total should be based on cash jobs handled in the month.
Develop the annual audit plan, strategy and budget to insure coverage of physical and financial assets, risks and compliance requirements.
Lead the assessment and tracking of all programmes scheduled including control deficiencies.
Lead and deliver on all audit phases and administration, audit report preparation and audit finding follow up for financial reporting and all related audit issues.
Identify risks, all significant control weaknesses and develop and implement action plans.
Prepare detailed audit documentation and working papers for assigned areas in accordance with internal audit policies, standard and guidelines.
Check the company’s statement of accounts to ensure withdrawals are duly authorized.

Qualifications, Experience and Attributes

A good first degree or its HND equivalent in Accounting plus membership of relevant professional bodies such as ICAN, ACCA is compulsory.
Minimum of 10 years of combined External/Internal Auditing experience with at least 5 years in a structured Audit Firm.
Previous work experience in a bank or any financial institution wuold be an added advantage.
Must have ability to pay attention to details and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of a job.
Strong grasp of business control policies and procedure, analytical excellent planning skills.
Must be ready to work anywhere the company has interest.
Must have been in management position for 5 years.
Must be between 35 years and above.
