Simeon’s Pivot Resources - Our Client, a Marketing and Distribution Company of ideal diet for all dogs (dog food) situated at Ikota Complex in Ajah requires the services of a competent and experienced individual who has experience in warehouse and logistic operation and can oversee the process from placing orders to clearing at the warehouse including product distribution to customers for the company. Hence, we are recruiting to fill the vacant position of:

Job Position: Warehouse - Logistic Manager

Job Type: Full Time
Location: Ikota-Ajah, Lagos State

Job Description
It includes but is not limited to the following:

• To manage the re-order levels and processing orders.
• To direct, manage and coordinate logistics, warehouse transportation and customer service activities.
• Ensure proper management of goods in the warehouse.
• Monitor product import or export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.
• Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery.
• Direct distribution center operation to ensure achievement of cost, productivity, accuracy, or timeliness objectives.
• Negotiate with suppliers or customers to improve supply chain efficiency or sustainability.
• Plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes.
• Direct inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, or logistics quality management.
• Analyze all aspects of corporate logistics to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means of transporting products or supplies.
• Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
• Evaluate and manage warehouse resources and activities in relation to company objectives and set targets.
• Plan the layout and set up of the warehouse for the appropriate storage of goods and supplies.
• Maintain housekeeping of warehouse and surrounding area.
• Manage customer service activities including order entry, customer satisfaction, interface with sales, production and quality.
• Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.
• Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
• Maintain reports, process documentation and customer service logs.
• Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates

Qualification and Experience

• HND/B.SC in Business Administration, Transportation/Logistics Movement, Warehouse Management or a related field
• MSc/MA qualification will also be an added advantage
• Must possess relevant professional qualifications/affiliations.
• Experienced in Supply chain Management will be an added advantage
• At least 4-7 years management experience in warehousing and logistic
