We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Quality Control Officer / Safety Officer
Ensuring quality control processes are GMP compliant to food/feed safety standards i.e., sampling of raw materials at reception and finished products, line start up checks and in-process checks, calibration of equipment and proper packaging of finished products
Ensure collection of Certificate of Analysis (COA) upon reception of raw materials in compliance with quality specification
Ensuring all products are produced to the highest standard and in accordance with standard operating procedures and HACCP
Ensure the management of the sample library (classification, elimination of samples at the end of storage, signaling)
Participate in process validation tests (homogeneity tests, inter-batch transfers, process qualification, etc.)
Collect and transmit the dedicated data for the monthly quality and food safety KPIs calculation (Ex: FPP, COPQ)
Ensuring manufacturing records per batch correspond to the recipe
Ensure raw materials and finished products storage follow food/feed safety standards and FIFO is being practiced i.e., temperature, humidity, expiry
Ensuring proper vehicle checks before dispatch to avoid contamination /damage of the finished products.
Supporting all Quality Management System (QMS) processes such as investigation of non-conformances, corrective, and preventive actions (CAPA)
Writing and reviewing GMP/SOP or other Quality documents as required
Identifying and implementing improvements to QA processes and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
Supporting the site audit program, including conducting audits, supporting, and hosting regulatory audits and regulatory bodies' inspection
Conducting training and coaching on QA processes and concepts both departmentally and site-wide
Support investigation of all customer complaints and resolution with team members
Carrying out additional tasks within your skill set and qualification
Health and Safety Management:
Co-ordinate the deployment of ADM’s safety, health, and environmental strategy across the locations with the aim of zero injuries or incidents.
Ensure close work relationship with location management with continued improvement & implementation of EHS training programs, policies, and procedures that drive a behavioral-based safety culture and support ADM’s strategy.
Guiding colleagues so they can maintain a safe workplace.
Instilling a sincere safety attitude by action, example, and training.
Providing advice and support to ensure the facilities maintain compliance with the ADM safety culture
Ensure colleagues comply with the use of PPE during production and handling of equipment
Ensure all near misses/incidents are properly recorded and investigated.
Maintaining the EHS Action and Monitoring plan for the facility.
Developing and maintaining the Site EHS Program and goals based on local regulatory requirements and the ADM Environmental, Health, and Safety Standards.
Ensure contractors and visitors comply with the company’s safety rules and regulations
Maintain liaison with legal and government agencies regarding Environmental, Health, and Safety issues.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all local Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations and maintain legal compliance management system
Ensure medical screening of colleagues involved in materials handling and production processes when due
Skills & Abilities:
Relevant knowledge of production techniques & planning
Knowledge of the company’s products and tools
Knowledge of the company’s production procedures & policies
Working knowledge of computer and productivity tools (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Education & Experience
A Science Degree or equivalent qualification Previous experience in a Quality assurance role within a GMP-regulated environment
Experience in feed/premix manufacturing, or continuous process industries
Understanding quality risk management is desirable
Project management experience preferred
Knowledge of Health and Safety processes and procedures
Basic understanding of Food Safety and Quality control management
