Audit Firm at Jos University Teaching Hospital

The Management of Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) is strongly desirous of appointing a competent and well experienced Audit Firm for the purpose of auditing the Accounts of the Hospital.

Consequently, Management hereby invites applications from qualified Audit Firms with good track record of performance for pre-qualification and appointment as External Auditor of the Hospital (JUTH):

Pre-Qualification Requirements
The following are the pre-qualification requirements to be submitted for consideration by interested and qualified Firms:

• Evidence of registration/renewal with office of Auditor-General of the Federation
• Evidence of registration will Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
• Evidence of registration with relevant Professional Bodies
• Evidence of tax identification Number (TIN)
• Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years (2012, 2013, and 2014)
• List of similar audit work done with date(s) and place in the lost years (supported with Completion Certificate)
• Comprehensive Company profile and organizational structure
• Evidence of opening a Retirement Savings Account (RSA) for staff or employees with Pension Fund Administrator supported with Completion Certificate issued by the National pension Commission in compliance with the Pension Act.
• Evidence of payment of Industrial Training Fund (ITF) contribution in compliance with the statutory provision of the ITF Amended Act 2011.
• Evidence of Technical Qualification and experience of key personnel.

• Original documents on any aspects of the Firm's submission may be requested for sighting.
• The advert shall not be misconstrued as commitment on the port of Jos University Teaching Hospital nor shall it entitle any firm to make claim or seek any indemnity from the Hospital by virtue of having responded to the advertisement,
• Notwithstanding the submission of pre-qualification documents, Jos University Teaching Hospital is neither committed nor obliged to include any Audit firm on the list for consideration.
• Jos University Teaching Hospital reserves the right to reject/accept any/all applications without assigning any reason whatsoever.
• Late submission will not be accepted.

Note:

• The pre-qualification documents shall be opened at 1:00pm same day, (Monday 13th July, 2015) in the Boardroom of the Hospital, at Administration Department.
• The representatives of Companies are invited to witness the Bid opening (on Monday, 13th July, 2015).
• Only shortlisted Audit Firms shall be invited for interview.
