We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Food & Agribusiness Sector Manager - CMB

Report to: ED, Commercial Bank

Job Purpose

  • An F&A Sector Manager builds, shares and applies knowledge on subjects relevant to F&A sectors in order to support the bank’s activities in F&A and to have an impact with clients.
  • An F&A Sector Manager comes up with ideas for new research and executes research projects, by taking ownership of the research process and producing through provoking research. 
  • The F&A Sector Manager understands sectors and relevant companies in F&A sectors, prepares for and presents at strategic dialogues with clients in a convincing way.
  • A F&A Sector Manager maintains and expands a valuable network internally in the bank as well as externally in the industry and profiles the bank as a thought leader.
  • The F&A Sector Manager provides valuable sector knowledge and views to Risk & Portfolio Management departments upon request. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Research: performing research by collecting data, analysing data and reporting on the results in a convincing way, written as well as verbally. 
  • Judgement, Provision of information & Reporting: independently collecting and processing information. Coming to a balanced judgement based on analysis of data. Use sources in combination to come to findings.
  • Commercial Results: quality and quantity of engagement: # research projects/pitches related to high value clients, presenting the research with impact and in a convincing way to clients.
  • Product Specialization: degree of (sub) sector knowledge/thought leadership in a (sub) sector. Point of contact to go to person for a (sub) sector. Sharing of information/knowledge with colleagues and customers.
  • Management: brings new idea’s/ topics to the table. Translate the customer strategy and ambitions in valuable research topics.
  • Networking: can engage intellectually and participates in the relevant networks. Builds internal and external network, also cross border and out of sight. Knowledge and views about the sector are shared within the network. 
  • Sector Information System: responsible for building a sector information system that includes sector specific features, crop budgets, etc.
  • Communication: responsible for maintaining and communicating to the branches and colleagues at head office, the relevant sector knowledge.

Job Requirements & Experience

  • M.Sc Degree in Agri-economics, MBA or Business Administration.
  • Minimum 5 years F&A banking and management experience.
  • Work experience in the agricultural sector.
