Job Title: Regional Manager, Africa - US Premium Partners

The Role
The role will focus on supporting agents, students and parents seeking to work with the QS expert enrolment managers to support their study abroad journey to selected QS’ US Partners.
The role requires being equally comfortable working with agents, students, parents and a wide range of QS team members.
Role Responsibilities
B2B:
Working with qualified recruitment partners to provide expert guidance and counselling support
Supporting QS online or offline events in the region
Proactively source high quality education agency partners across Africa to become QS higher education partners in the region, focusing on US Premium Partners
Proactively source, onboard, and train high school, language schools, college counsellors, and other local education partners, focusing on US Premium Partners
Identify select highly qualified and professional educational agencies to explore deeper partnership opportunities with QS
Work across our global team to provide best practices, training and destination specific knowledge
Deliver in-person and online presentations for students, parents, recruitment partners, and counsellors
Ensure terms of contracts are clearly defined and adhered to
Work across teams to respond to program and school inquiries as well as requests from our B2B and school partners
Maintain up-to-date records of program requirements, scholarships, and deadlines with the QS regional admission teams
B2C:
Supporting QS online or offline events in the region
Deliver in-person and online presentations for students and parents, to inspire students in curating their college aspirations
Counsel prospective students through their university enrolment journey
Promote the merits of applying to universities via the QS platform, as well as the other benefits it brings
Work closely with regional leaders and colleagues to identify and stay on top of industry trends and new students’ opportunities
Respond to inbound inquiries from students and parents
Nurture and keep track of assigned student leads and report their progress to regional leaders
Collaborate with admissions and regional team members to assist the assigned students in all key stages of their enrolment journey – university search, application management, document submission, offer acceptances, visa processing and pre-departure prep
Stay up-to-date with university destination, programmes, entry requirements and any other knowledge required to champion student servicing and conversion
Key Skills and Experience
Demonstrated knowledge and experience:
Experience in international higher education space sales and customer service
Expertise in institutions, admissions requirements, and visa processes for USA
Understanding of working with an educational agency and/or international institutions as a representative is a plus
Familiarity of dealing with direct student inquires
Experience delivering high levels of customer service to B2B partners and families
Knowledge of the international education industry, local high school networks, local universities, and education agents in your territory
Technical skills and qualifications:
Working knowledge of spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Experience working with a CRM (Hubspot, Salesforce, etc.)
Ability to work across cultures and languages
Advanced English skills are a must
