Job Description

• We are seeking a creative and talented individual to join our team as a Content & Social Media Assistant. If you have a passion for storytelling, copywriting, video editing, and graphics design, and are well-versed in social media management and content writing, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities
Content Creation:

• Develop engaging and creative content across various platforms, including but not limited to blogs, social media posts, videos, and graphics.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with overall brand messaging and objectives.

Storytelling and Copywriting:

• Craft compelling and cohesive narratives that resonate with our target audience.
• Write and edit copy for various marketing materials, ensuring consistency in tone and style.

Video Editing and Graphics Design:

• Edit and produce high-quality videos for social media channels and other marketing initiatives.
• Design visually appealing graphics to enhance the overall content strategy.

Social Media Management:

• Manage and execute social media strategies across platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
• Monitor trends, analyze performance metrics, and adjust strategies to maximize engagement and reach.

Algorithm Understanding:

• Stay updated on social media algorithms and trends to optimize content for maximum visibility.
• Implement strategies to improve organic reach and engagement.

SEO Knowledge (Added Advantage):

• Understanding of SEO principles and the ability to incorporate them into content creation and social media strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, (or any other field of study with relevant experience)
• Proven experience in content creation, copywriting, video editing, and graphics design.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms, their features, and best practices.
• Familiarity with social media algorithms and the ability to adapt strategies accordingly.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles (added advantage).
• Proficiency in relevant tools and software for video editing and graphics design.

Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro) and graphics design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

Other Basic Requirements (Very Important):

• Must have at least 1 years’ experience in working remotely.
• Must have a personal computer.
• Must have good internet access (including an alternative arrangement when the primary network is down).
• Should have a good workspace arrangement to effectively work remotely.
• Must have relatively good power supply (or arrange for power source to always power the laptop and work)
• Must be committed to work full time (daily, Mon – Fri).
