Job Title: Head - Network Enterprise

Location: Lagos

Job Description
This is a vital position to support Enterprise business unit to do planning and providing customized technical solutions to enterprise business customers. This person will be interacting with the enterprise business team and customers very extensively.

• Flexible and economical design with timely delivery is the essence of this role.
• Take forecasts from the marketing team to design enterprise network
• Preparation of AOP & budget for capex and opex by taking forecasts from marketing for enterprise business
• Enterprise Network Planning for various services like Internet, APN, LL, etc.
• IP Network design & Planning
• Last mile network Design & planning
• BoQ preparations & validation
• Preparing RFP & Technical specifications
• Vendor validation, selection and recommendations
• Close interactions with internal departments like Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, deployment, and operations
• Bandwidth and capacity planning & management
• Adherence to the local regulatory requirements wrt Enterprise networks
• Interfacing with enterprise customers to understand their requirements and preparations of customized technical solutions.
• Project Plan preparations, progress monitoring and tracking
• Day to day monitoring of KPIs of enterprise networks
• Bring synergies with existing network infrastructure
• MIS for senior management
• Regular interaction with the customers
• Managing & interacting with ISP International carriers
• Microwave / Last mile link planning

Requirements

• Routers, switches, aggregators & protocols, IP networks, LAN, WAN Bandwidth & capacity management
• IP management
• Technologies for Last mile connectivity
• Various interfaces
• Various enterprise services – Internet, APN, Leased Lines, Voice & Video conference, etc.
• MPLS / DCN network
• Handling & managing partners / vendors
• Should have knowledge of local geography & customers
• Leadership & entrepreneur skills
• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Masters Degree in Engineering a plus)
• Sound knowledge of Mobile Network – Planning & Operations
• Analytical and Presentation skills
• Strategic negotiation skills
• Minimum 12 years relevant experience in enterprise networks domain
• With at least 6 years senior management experience in an area of network planning
• Other requirements (Behavioural etc.)
