We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Digital Marketing Officer

Location: Lagos
Reports to: MD

Job Purpose

• To bring specialist digital marketing skills to develop and implement a digital marketing plan aimed at raising the profile and visibility of the Business for the appropriate audience.
• Meeting targets and reporting on them will be an important part of this role.

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Carry out specific tasks to promote the business in the digital space as follows:

Increase Brand Visibility:

• Increase the number of visitors to the website using Search Engine Optimisation techniques and other proven methods.
• Build numbers of people following the company on Facebook, Twitter and by email newsletters, as well as other social media platforms and increase interactions/engagement.
• Work with other key stakeholders to create quality online content and media in-line with the Company's overall objectives and value proposition.
• Widely promote the Company's range of Product, Services and Activities.
• Train and encourage other staff to promote the Company's brand online (by sharing information and photos about their work.)

Targets and Reporting:

• Report on online activity using Google Analytics and other available tools. Monitor additional business leads generated and converted by the above activity.

Advisory:

• Through meetings and one on one interviews with key business stakeholders continuously provide input from Digital Media perspectives into business strategy, supporting the achievement of Business goals.
• Provide regular information where necessary to assist with the compilation of reports for Business Stakeholders and other departments as required.
• Supply sufficient information to relevant Staff members to enable effective budgetary control of specific areas of activity related to Digital Marketing.
• Carry out other duties as requested by the line manager and sit on committees and internal meetings where appropriate.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors' degree / HND in any discipline.
• Experience with Online Lead Funnels (generation, nurturing, scoring and conversion);
• Experience in managing and designing PPC campaigns
• Experience with Email Marketing programs;
• Experience with SEO and SEM;
• Experience with Online Analytics (Google Analytics, Trends, Webmaster Tools, Website Optimizer, Keyword Tool, URL Builder)
• Experience with Web 2.0 and Social Networks (Blog, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Facebook, YouTube)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop) or any other graphics design software
• Sensitivity to User Experience and Design.
