The Federal Polytechnic, Ukana - The Federal Government of Nigeria in pursuance to the Act to establish Polytechnics in various parts of the country approved the establishment of the Federal Polytechnic, Ukana in Akwa Ibom State on Monday 9th June, 2014. The Federal Polytechnic, Ukana is one of the four newly established Federal Polytechnics in Nigeria.

Requirements

• Candidate must have master’s degree in Computer Engineering from a reputable University and must be a registered member of COREN
• Should demonstrate good ability and knowledge of information and Communication Technology
• Must be aware and sensitive to the fast changing training needs in Information and Technology.
• Must possess ability to take charge of Lab/workshops/studio management and other related responsibilities
• Must serve as external moderator or examiner in the area of specialization.
• Must have served as a Senior Lecturer I for four years.
• Evidence of ability to initiate and supervise research work.
• Must be registered with a relevant professional body.

As contained in the approved conditions governing service of senior staff of Federal Polytechnics.
