Chevron Nigeria Limited is recruiting to fill the position of:

Job Title: Subject Matter Expert (S.M.E.) Supervisor

Location: Lagos

Job Description:

• Supervise a team of Subject Matter Experts who are responsible for coordinating drilling plans and activities in their respective technical focus areas.
• Act as contract owners and develop technical and commercial specifications for their areas of specialization.
• Responsible for contractor management in their respective diciplines

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division.

Required Skills:

• Broard experience in Drilling engineering and execution, Preferrable past experience with a service company in Directional drilling, Wellheads and tubulars, etc.

Experience

• Minimum of Fifteen (15) years relevant post degree work experience (includes National Youth Service) in drilling engineering.
• Previous service company experience in one of specialized drilling services is required.

• Broad drilling and completion engineering and operations
• Contracting knowledge
• Strong supervisory and interpersonal skills
• Excellent technical, analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to work in a diverse team
• Effective communication skills
