Delta State Polytechnic - Applications are invited from all interested and qualified candidates for admission into the following NBTE accredited HND Programmes of Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku for the 2017/2018 Academic Session:

HND Mechanical Engineering (Power and Manufacturing Option)
HND Mechanical Engineering (Power/Plant)
HND Metallurgy Engineering Technology
HND Welding and Fabrication Engineering

b.) School of Applied Science:

HND Computer Science
HND Hotel and Tourism Management
HND Mathematics and Statistics

c.) School of Art and Design:

HND Fashion Design and Clothing Technology
HND Fine and Applied Arts (Sculpture, Graphics and Painting Options)
HND Textiles Design
HND Ceramics

d.) School of Business Studies:

HND Accountancy
HND Business Administration and Management
HND Mass Communication (Print and Broadcast)
HND Office Technology and Management
HND PRODUCTION Operations Management
HND Human Resource Management

Entry Requirements

A National Diploma (ND) obtained with a minimum of Lower Credit in the relevant disciplines from institutions where the programmes are duly accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) with a minimum of One (1) year Industrial Training in the field of specialization.
Candidates who obtained ND at less level with a minimum of Two (2) years Industrial Training in the Field of specialization.
At least Five (5) credit passes in SSCE (WAEC and NECO), GCE ‘0 Level, NABTEB or its equivalent in relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language in not more than two sittings.
Candidates who gained Admission into ND Programme through JAMB inclusive of items (a) to (c) above.

Log on to https://dspg.waeup.org click "Application", then click on HND Application form, fill in the requested information and submit to obtain your application ID.
Pay a non-refundable application fee of Ten Thousand, Seven Hundred and
Fifty naira (N10,750.0o) only made Online with Verve or Master card (ATM Card).

Clearance Requirements for Successful hnd Candidates
All candidates who succeed in gaining admission into the Polytechnic shall be required to submit the following documents to the Admissions Officer:

Five (5) copies of recent Passport Photographs.
Two (2) copies of correctly completed online Application Form.
Photocopy of Receipt of Acceptance of HND Admission.
Photocopy of Examination Results (SSCE and ND or their equivalents) listed on the Application Form.
Letter of Completion of a minimum of One (1) year Industrial Training.
Photocopy of Certificate of Local Government Area of Origin.
Photocopy of Birth Certificate or Declaration of age.
Photocopy of the Admission Letter/Result in the ND programme.

Note: Screening date will be communicated to shortlisted candidates.
