The God’s Treasury Cooperative Society (GTCS) is a community-driven cooperative dedicated to empowering its members financially through cooperative saving, investment, and lending opportunities. Job Title: Proposal Delegate, Communications and Internal Compliance Specialist

Location: Gbagada, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

• We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Proposal Delegate, Product Manager, Communications, and PR/Internal Compliance Specialist.
• This role will involve engaging with potential members, delivering product presentations, managing internal communications for compliance, and implementing PR strategies to enhance GTCS's visibility and reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct product delivery meetings with potential members, presenting GTCS's offerings and benefits.
• Utilize public speaking skills to effectively communicate GTCS's mission, values, and products to potential members.
• Manage internal communications with GTCS community members regarding compliance requirements and information dissemination.
• Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance GTCS's visibility and reputation in the community and among potential members.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create digital and traditional marketing materials to support PR and communication efforts.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations, and industry standards.
• Act as a liaison between GTCS and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
• Track and report on KPIs related to communication and PR efforts, with potential for bonuses based on performance.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess Bachelor's Degrees in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related fields with 2 - 6 years relevant work experience.
• Strong public speaking skills and ability to engage and persuade audiences.
• Experience in communications, PR, or related fields, preferably within the financial or cooperative sector.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements and regulations related to cooperative societies or financial institutions is an advantage.
• Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a must.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
